What this is
Fantasy Basketball is a free fantasy basketball game. You build a squad of real NBA players, you compete against the other managers in your league, and you score points based on what those players did in real games.
No real money
There is no gambling here. The budgets, prices, bids and release clauses in the app are game currency with no cash value. You cannot buy it, cash it out or transfer it. Nothing you win in the game has monetary value.
Your account
You need an email address and a password. Keep the recovery code you are given when you sign up: without it and without your password, we cannot get you back into your account, because we do not store either in readable form.
One account per person. Do not create extra accounts to gain an advantage in a league.
Fair play
Do not attempt to automate the app, interfere with the market, or exploit bugs to gain an advantage. We may suspend accounts that do.
The game changes
Rules, prices, scoring and features may change as the game is tuned. Seasons are reset when a new real season starts, which clears squads and standings.
Availability
The app is provided as is, free of charge, with no guarantee of availability. Real-world data comes from public sources and may be delayed or wrong.
Not affiliated
Fantasy Basketball is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NBA or any of its teams. Player names and statistics are used for identification in a fantasy sports context.
